This is an agreement between the Licensee (“you”) and Jad Maza. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Fonts, you are agreeing to the terms of this EULA.

Definitions

“Licensee” is the entity or organization on whose behalf the Fonts are used, or whose name is specified during the checkout or sale process.

“Fonts” are computer software containing typeface designs.

“Licensee Size” is the number of employees, including temporary staff, working for the Licensee.

“Designer” is any entity, individual, freelancer, studio, agency, or other service bureau that provides services to the Licensee involving use of the Fonts.

This is an agreement between the Licensee (“you”) and Jad Maza. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Fonts, you are agreeing to the terms of this EULA.

Commercial License

Usage

Unless otherwise stated in this agreement, you may install the Fonts on any number of devices and use for commercial and non-commercial purposes within your organization. This includes use in logos.

You may use the Fonts on any number of websites owned and controlled by your organization. You may only serve the Fonts in WOFF and WOFF2 formats using the CSS @font-face rule; the use of the Fonts on the web in OTF format is not permitted.

You may embed the Fonts in static documents (such as PDFs), in eBooks, digital products, installable applications, broadcast, and other media produced by your organization.

You may supply a temporary copy of the Fonts to a Designer, if necessary, to be used solely for the production of your project, provided that they also agree to these terms and destroy their copy of the Fonts upon the job’s completion.

A Commercial license remains valid should the Licensee Size increase, provided the Licensee Size was correctly stated at the time of purchase.

A Designer may purchase a Commercial license on behalf of the Licensee (their client), provided that: the Licensee and the Licensee Size are correctly specified during the checkout process, the Licensee has read and agreed to the terms of this Agreement, and the Licensee has authorized the Designer to complete the purchase on their behalf. Designer is not allowed to quote or invoice the Licensee for any price other than the actual amount they paid for the license.

Free Fonts

Fonts offered free of charge for commercial use require you to obtain one (1) license per user/device.
You may share the freebie resource only by redirecting to its original download link found at Jad Maza’s website (jadmaza.gumroad.com). Hosting the Fonts as a separate downloadable file from your own server/website/storage/platform is prohibited.

Demo License

Fonts downloadable under the Demo license may be used for testing purposes and personal, non-commercial use only. Any use in commercial, paid, or consumer-facing projects requires the purchase of the appropriate license by the ultimate end user.

Restrictions

You may not share, sell, lend, rent, sublicense, transfer, give away, or further distribute the Fonts to any unlicensed third-party. You agree to take all reasonable steps to protect the font against unauthorized access and use by third-parties or the general public.

Except when expressly permitted in a separate written agreement, you may not use the Fonts as a tool or resource wherein an unlicensed third-party can create custom designs or export static documents (e.g. an online design application, iron-on lettering product, or print-on-demand service), or as a part of NFTs (non-fungible tokens).

You may not decompile, modify, reverse-engineer, reformat, alter, edit, or create derivative works based on the Fonts, or engage any third party to do so without prior written permission from Jad Maza.

The use of the Fonts in any generally discriminatory, hateful, oppressive, violent, or environmentally-destructive context is expressly prohibited.

General

Upon receipt of full payment of all applicable license fees, Jad Maza grants you the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Fonts under the terms of this Agreement. The Fonts are the exclusive property of Jad Maza and what you are provided by this Agreement is the license to use the Fonts. All rights not granted to you by this Agreement are expressly reserved by Jad Maza.

The Fonts are provided “AS IS,” without warranty of any kind. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Fonts rests upon you. Jad Maza shall in no event be liable to you or any other party for any loss or damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the Fonts. Under no circumstances shall Jad Maza’s liability exceed the cost of the license you purchased.

Any breach of the terms and conditions of this agreement terminates your license to use the font. Upon termination, you must destroy the original and any copies of the font software and documentation.

This license agreement may be updated by Jad Maza at any time without prior consent or notice.
